Jennifer L. Paty, Navy Career Counselor Master Chief, NCCM (SW) (CMC) USN (Ret.)
Master Chief Jennifer L. Paty retired in 1996 after serving 20 years of active duty in the United States Navy.

She first served as an Aviation Machinist Mate at NAS Alameda and HSL 37 Barbers Point Hawaii. While serving as a Navy Recruiter in Birmingham Alabama she converted to Navy Counselor and was promoted to NC1. Upon completion of a very successful recruiting tour Petty Officer Paty transferred to the Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) in Millington, TN, where she served as the Command Career Counselor and was selected and initiated as a Chief Petty Officer. After being promoted to Chief, she immediately terminated shore duty and requested assignment to onboard ship.

In April of 1988, Chief Paty reported to the USS Frank Cable (AS-40) home ported in Charleston, SC, where she served as the Command Career Counselor, Assistant Training Officer and the ships Command Managed Equal Opportunity Program Coordinator. She earned her Surface Warfare qualifications while onboard Frank Cable.

After being promoted to Senior Chief in 1992, Senior Chief Paty returned to the NATTC where she was again responsible for organizing, training, motivating and managing the commands career counseling and retention program. Under her leadership NATTC earned an unprecedented three consecutive Gold Anchor Awards for being the Navy’s number one education and retention program. While attending the Senior Enlisted Academy in 1994, Senior Chief was selected for advancement to Master Chief and served as the Command Master Chief for U.S. Naval Activates, United Kingdom. Master Chief retired in June 1996.

Her military honors include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (3) awards, Navy Achievement Medal (3) awards and the Humanitarian Service Medal. Upon retirement Rev. Jennifer Paty earned a Masters in Divinity from SS Cyral and Methodious Seminary in Orchard Lake Michigan and was Ordained in the Metropolitan Community Church in 2004.
